Diego Frans succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of Arteaga FC booed when River Plate25 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ciceron in the 14th minute of play forced River Plate25's goalkeeper Cleto Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. When Patricio Harkaitz fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arteaga FC's protests and gave Patricio Harkaitz a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 played minutes Arteaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Harkaitz. Leandro Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ereinotz in the 24th minute of play forced Arteaga FC's goalkeeper Vicente Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Pastor Ereinotz made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Martxelin. Arteaga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Emanuel Ilixo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Eusko got free with Cleto Aresti in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, River Plate25's Leandro Lucado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Martxelin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River Plate25 reached it. Pastor Ereinotz charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pastor Ereinotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Pastor Ereinotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Frans scored 2-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Aresti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Cleto Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Ciceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Arteaga FC's Aquiles Oinaz got a free kick in the 58th minute. Erubiel Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vicente Martxelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pastor Ereinotz hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Modesto Elia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cleto Aresti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cleto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Frans in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute Diego Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes, Claudio Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Plate25 and the Arteaga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Claudio Benino kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Cleto Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ciceron in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Oscar Oihenarte ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cleto Aresti was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Modesto Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 91 minutes of play, Arteaga FC's Vicente Ciceron made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cleto Aresti was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arteaga FC's Vicente Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Machado in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the River Plate25 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arteaga FC.
