River Plate25's Leandro Lucado got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sarandí Fútbol Club defense, Erubiel Machado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Estevon. The Sarandí Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Estevon should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Felix Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate25's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Dominic was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, River Plate25 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Ereinotz to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Albino Santo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cleto Aresti was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After 47 played minutes Sarandí Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Urti. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Cleto Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Belarmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With his leg Cleto Aresti managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Sarandí Fútbol Club's Federico Belarmo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cleto Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Belarmo in the 63rd minute of the match. Pastor Ereinotz scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Estevon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Pastor Ereinotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate25's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarandí Fútbol Club the free kick. Pastor Ereinotz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 77th play minutes Federico Belarmo shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Cleto Aresti and just under the crossbar into goal. Cleto Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Belarmo in the 83rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Federico Belarmo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cleto Aresti saved River Plate25 from getting behind. Federico Belarmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Federico Belarmo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Cleto Aresti when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rene Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Machado in the 93rd minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, River Plate25's goalkeeper Cleto Aresti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Belarmo. In the 98th minute Sarandí Fútbol Club were awarded a corner. Evaristo Nardo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Sarandí Fútbol Club's Evaristo Nardo to fire away a dangerous shot which Cleto Aresti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sarandí Fútbol Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
