Jaime Goren took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Ritchie. Teodoro Ritchie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Herminio Baraquiel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RIVER PASION FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mechita the free kick. 26 minutes into the match, RIVER PASION FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Feliu came free, but Teodoro Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Arnulfo Opilano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Froila kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliano Dalmai. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paolo Bazil got free with Aureliano Dalmai in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aureliano Dalmai was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arnulfo Opilano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 38 minute of play. In the 46th minute, RIVER PASION FC's Arnulfo Opilano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aureliano Dalmai. Aureliano Dalmai yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Desiderio Feliu was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Desiderio Feliu took a quick shot and it went in 5-2 without a chance for Teodoro Ritchie to make any attempt to save it. 62 minutes into the match, RIVER PASION FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Feliu came free, but Teodoro Ritchie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mechita's Aureliano Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Opilano in the 75th minute of play. Cleto Handi charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Handi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, RIVER PASION FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleto Handi to maneuver through the defense. Cleto Handi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The long shot by Jacinto Txatxu in the 82nd minute really tested Teodoro Ritchie's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Teodoro Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Aureliano Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Mechita defense, Arnulfo Opilano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Dalmai. The Mechita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Dalmai should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jaime Goren got free with Teodoro Ritchie in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. RIVER PASION FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Mechita for much of the match.
