Julio Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Bero hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Marcial Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Felix Dominics short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Marcial Rivero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Marcial Rivero managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when River Plate25's Felix Dominic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Velasco took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cleto Aresti. Cleto Aresti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Dominic got free with Marcial Rivero in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moises Bero charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Bero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcial Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Benino in the 41st minute of the match. Marcial Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Benino in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julio Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Julio Velasco suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Emanuel Ilixo fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate25's protests and gave Emanuel Ilixo a yellow card for diving instead. Medinas AFC made a substitution. Lázaro Jax replaced Julio Velasco. After 52 played minutes River Plate25 got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ilixo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Ereinotz in the 56th minute of play forced Medinas AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Inocencio Erasto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Bero hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Medinas AFC's Marcial Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Machado in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Medinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Dominic came free, but Marcial Rivero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Ereinotz in the 81st minute of the match. The supporters of River Plate25 booed when Medinas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Felix Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate25's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Dominic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Medinas AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
