Amado Txilar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Faustino Nuno. In the 15th minute, Ferneceros FC's Dario Baudelio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amado Txilar. Amado Txilar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Amado Txilar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Cordeiro in the 22nd minute of play. Amado Txilar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filiberto Osasun in the 24th minute. Ramiro Cayo's late challenge caught a Tandil fútbol club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramiro Cayo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ferneceros FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ramiro Cayo hit a great ball. Amado Txilar made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernardo Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. After 39 minutes of play, Ferneceros FC's Luis Cilio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amado Txilar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernardo Cordeiro, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Amado Txilar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Faustino Nuno. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Filiberto Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amado Txilar having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Freddy Tercero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferneceros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Gavino Pacho fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tandil fútbol club's protests and gave Gavino Pacho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Gavino Pacho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Freddy Tercero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferneceros FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Tercero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
