When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Arturo Baldovino sped through DE LA SALLE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jesus Nuno. DE LA SALLE's Jesus Nuno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Baldovino in the 15th minute of play. Georg Krooni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Cuarto, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience was convinced that Arturo Baldovino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jesus Nuno was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Los Triperos's Arturo Baldovino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The supporters of DE LA SALLE booed when Los Triperos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonides Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arturo Baldovino made a kick off. Los Triperos's Arturo Baldovino got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Nuno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Baldovino in the 81st minute of the match. Jesus Nuno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. When the referee ended the match the Los Triperos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
