The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robustiano Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Jerrald in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jovita AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Lesardo was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Triperos's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Leonides Igon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 9th minute, Justino Lesardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Arturo Baldovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Los Triperos's Arturo Baldovino in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jovita AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Robustiano Austin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Abancens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Georg Krooni made a huge save. The attack was good, but when Hector Tanio in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Robustiano Austin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Baldovino's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Arturo Baldovino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Austin. Jovita AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arturo Baldovino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jovita AFC's Robustiano Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Igon in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Los Triperos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Jerrald to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Baldovino in the 42nd minute of play forced Jovita AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match Los Triperos got a corner. Jovita AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Justino Lesardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Los Triperos's corner Justino Lesardo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robustiano Austin quite easily take care of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Jovita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Vasco came free, but Robustiano Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benicio Vasco shot a long shot in the 45th minute and a light blocked Robustiano Austin hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-3. Benicio Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristobal Maties made a kick off. Jovita AFC's Robustiano Austin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Jovita AFC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Leonides Igon put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Robustiano Austin. 58 minutes into the match, Los Triperos's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Maties came free, but Georg Krooni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atilano Hondo's late challenge caught a Los Triperos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Hondo helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Jovita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Hondo. In the 66th minute, Arturo Baldovino reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robustiano Austin. The goal made the score 0-5. Cristobal Maties hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Robustiano Austin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Igon in the 72nd minute of the match. Benicio Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Los Triperos's Claudio López was substituted for Leonides Igon. A collision led to Los Triperos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Benicio Vasco hit a great ball. Claudio López sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute, Los Triperos's Arturo Baldovino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Robustiano Austin. Robustiano Austin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. In the 88th minute of the match, Jeronimo Jerrald tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robustiano Austin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 88 minutes, Justino Lesardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Triperos and the Jovita AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Los Triperos's Justino Lesardo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Robustiano Austin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Baldovino in the 94th minute. Jeronimo Jerrald struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Robustiano Austin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Triperos. Cristobal Maties charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Maties the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 98 played minutes Jovita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Maties.
