An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Dantae in the 25th minute of play forced Jovita AFC's goalkeeper Robustiano Austin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Cristobal Maties managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jovita AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Maties was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Izotz's late challenge caught a Festejar F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Izotz helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Izotz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Cristobal Maties who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Festejar F.C.'s Maximiliano Vellito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melchor Medina's late challenge caught a Festejar F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Vellito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Maties in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benedicto Dantae made a kick off. Erasmo Lorien kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 played minutes Festejar F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Bieito. Jovita AFC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Festejar F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmo Lorien took the corner. 58 minutes into the match, Festejar F.C.'s goalkeeper Maximiliano Vellito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristobal Maties. Erasmo Lorien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Cristobal Maties got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 played minutes Festejar F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Israel Aureo. With a little luck, Festejar F.C.'s Maximiliano Vellito got control of the ball when Cristobal Maties tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Jovita AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Rumaldo to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Matiess short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Maximiliano Vellito to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute David Bastiaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Maties took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximiliano Vellito. Maximiliano Vellito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 89th minute, Benedicto Dantae hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristobal Maties's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximiliano Vellito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Jovita AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Festejar F.C..
