After 5 minutes of play, Tito y su Vallet's Sergio Geofredo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelo Florinio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Ave Fenix's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Bembe came free, but Marcelo Florinio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Bembe in the 12th minute of play. Ave Fenix's Marcelo Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Bembe in the 23rd minute of play. Tito y su Vallet's Delmiro Guerrero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcelo Florinio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Modesto Weterio hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ave Fenix defense, Bruno Bembe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Florinio. The Ave Fenix fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Florinio should have stopped the shot. Kuddusî Erokay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Salvadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sergio Geofredo in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Florinio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes into the match, Sergio Geofredo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ave Fenix's Marcelo Florinio. Marcelo Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucio Etxahun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuddusî Erokay having to interfere. The referee gave Tito y su Vallet a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sergio Geofredo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ave Fenix's Marcelo Florinio. 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucio Etxahun to make the kick off. Silvestre Salvadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ave Fenix getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lucio Etxahun hit a great ball. Marcelo Florinio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Bruno Bembe sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tito y su Vallet's Delmiro Guerrero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Lucio Etxahun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuddusî Erokay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute Fernan Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Tito y su Vallet booed when Ave Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Dominix didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Delmiro Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Tito y su Vallet fans jumped to their feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Geofredo in the 79th minute of play forced Ave Fenix's goalkeeper Marcelo Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Fernan Cristos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Marcelo Florinio made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Bruno Bembe sent off a good shot on target. Tito y su Vallet's Claudio Fanuco got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tito y su Vallet getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bruno Bembe hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvestre Salvadore during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Ave Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Salvadore. Claudio Fanuco kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Tito y su Vallet played a much better game than Ave Fenix and deserved their victory. The Ave Fenix players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
