The Mataderos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Rufio should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the game, Niceto Theodore recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustino Rufio. Niceto Theodore showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Niceto Theodore took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Faustino Rufio to make any attempt to save it. With his leg Faustino Rufio managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Deportivo Chivilcoy's Rolando Endira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rolando Endira came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Faustino Rufio could save by the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mataderos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Deportivo Chivilcoy a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niceto Theodore, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio. 5-0. Rolando Endira took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustino Rufio. Faustino Rufio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Rolando Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Dantel made a kick off. Faustino Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Theodore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 54 minutes, Rolando Endira made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mataderos FC's Faustino Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Endira in the 58th minute of play. Faustino Rufio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rolando Endira went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Rolando Endira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Rufio having to make a save. After 65 played minutes Mataderos FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Selmo. Niceto Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Rolando Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Chivilcoy's supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Endira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustino Rufio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Endira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Rufio having to make a save. Niceto Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Theodore in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Rufio saved Mataderos FC from getting behind. Evelio Vermudo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Vermudo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Deportivo Chivilcoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Vermudo to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Paulino Sindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteban Duarte. Faustino Rufio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Theodore, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute Niceto Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rufio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mataderos FC's Severino Emenon got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mataderos FC's zone, Rolando Endira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Rufio came out of the goal and Rolando Endira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Theodore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Deportivo Chivilcoy fully deserved thier win.
