Erasmo Matai struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Faustino Rufio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siganme si Pueden. Teodoro Raitin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Raitin came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel. But to his dismay, Marcos Dantel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Esteban Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Teodoro Raitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match Wilfredo Selmo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Raitin skillfully saved the ball. Ciro Gelacio kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Teodoro Raitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Esteban Duarte went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Teodoro Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteban Duarte in the 41st minute of play. Wilfredo Selmo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Mataderos FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rufio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Maia. After the first half Mataderos FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Augusto Maia made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Marcos Dantel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Teodoro Raitin. The goal made the score 0-4. After 57 played minutes Marcos Dantel rounded Siganme si Pueden's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Teodoro Raitin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Dantel in the 62nd minute of play. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when Siganme si Pueden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Herena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Siganme si Pueden defense, Esteban Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodoro Raitin. The Siganme si Pueden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodoro Raitin should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Marcos Dantel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Raitin was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Siganme si Pueden's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Dantel came free, but Teodoro Raitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodoro Raitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Duarte in the 75th minute. When Mataderos FC's Marcos Dantel in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Esteban Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Teodoro Raitin made a huge save. Teodoro Raitin was a little too slow when Marcos Dantel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-7. In the 96th minute, Nemesio Herena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodoro Raitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Duarte in the 97th minute. The Mataderos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mataderos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
