Deportivo Chivilcoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROOFF the free kick. Wilfredo Ferrando scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Sindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Deportivo Chivilcoy getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eleuterio Corderro hit a great ball. Deportivo Chivilcoy's Paulino Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Ferrando in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Filiberto Odol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Garaile went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th minute, Roberto Frichoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ROOFF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 60th minute Roberto Frichoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Deportivo Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Frichoso came free, but Paulino Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Chivilcoy's Paulino Sindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Chivilcoy from getting a goal against them. Paulino Sindo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Ferrando showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 69 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Endira in the 76th minute of play forced ROOFF's goalkeeper Filiberto Odol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the game, Deportivo Chivilcoy's Niceto Theodore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Odol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Wilfredo Ferrando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paulino Sindo made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Theodore in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Odol saved ROOFF from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niceto Theodore in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filiberto Odol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filiberto Odol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Garaile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Deportivo Chivilcoy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Garaile to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match Alonzo Frascuelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Sindo skillfully saved the ball. Paulino Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Endira struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Filiberto Odol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Chivilcoy.
