Luciano Munio didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when River Plate's Baltasar Estebe shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of River Plate booed when ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Maties didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Conrao got free with Luciano Munio in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute of the match German Cebo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Sedeni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. River Plate's Roberto Sedeni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Maties in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Estebe in the 39th minute of play forced ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s goalkeeper Luciano Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Baltasar Estebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luciano Munio. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Estebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Munio was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Roberto Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gogo Maties in the 69th minute. 71 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Maties came free, but Roberto Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Odon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Roberto Sedeni made a huge save. If Serafino Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Eduino in the 84th minute of the match. Isidro Corderro's late challenge caught a ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Corderro helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Corderro. ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s Ovidio Odon got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Sedeni made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ovidio Odon sent off a good shot on target. Serafino Rosario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Sedeni came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s Ovidio Odon. But to his dismay, Ovidio Odon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Segundo Mitxel struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Roberto Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.. River Plate's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
