Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benedicto Isauro kicked off to start the match. Gulp!'s Ruperto Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Cresitobalo in the 10th minute of play. Ruperto Emmanuel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Cresitobalo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Teobaldo Cresitobalo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gulp!'s Ruperto Emmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Izel in the 14th minute of play. When Leonel Izel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Academia RC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Izel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Academia RC booed when Gulp! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobaldo Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ruperto Emmanuel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Teobaldo Cresitobalo made a precise shot to the right of Ruperto Emmanuel. Gulp!'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Teobaldo Cresitobalo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Emmanuel. Ruperto Emmanuel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Teobaldo Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia RC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teobaldo Cresitobalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruperto Emmanuel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute, Angelino Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Academia RC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Cresitobalo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Teobaldo Cresitobalo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ruperto Emmanuel made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Teobaldo Cresitobalo sent off a good shot on target. Teobaldo Cresitobalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruperto Emmanuel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Teobaldo Cresitobalo sent off a good shot on target. Teobaldo Cresitobalo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ruperto Emmanuel made a huge save. 88 minutes into the game, Leonel Izel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruperto Emmanuel. Leonel Izel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Gulp!'s Ruperto Emmanuel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gulp! from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gulp!'s Andres Maju got a free kick in the 94th minute. The Gulp! fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Academia RC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
