With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Bras in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Gabirel saved Alvi Boton from getting behind. Eloy Gabirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Simon Bras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Gabirel. Alvi Boton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Bras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Chinto made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Simon Bras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Bras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Gabirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Bras in the 58th minute of play. Boedo Crows's Dionisio Jusepe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adolfo Cordarrol, made in the 59th minute of the game. Eloy Gabirel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Bras in the 60th minute. Apolo Alvarez went to the cornerflag to take it. Apolo Alvarez made a great header on Alvi Boton's corner, it was just that Boedo Crows's Israel Ferdinand managed to reach the ball for a save. Simon Bras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eloy Gabirel having to make a save. Alvi Boton's Eloy Gabirel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Alvi Boton from getting a goal against them. Eloy Gabirel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Simon Bras went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-8 was the resulting score.
