After having played for 25 minutes, Alejandro Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alvi Boton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th match minute, ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Cugat to maneuver through the defense. Alvi Boton's Hermengildo Frances got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Frances fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Munio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s zone, Enrique Henry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Munio came out of the goal and Enrique Henry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute, Hermengildo Frances left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alvi Boton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 45 minutes into the match, Enrique Henry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Munio. ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Henry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santos Chinto made a kick off. In the 56th minute Alejandro Firmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Munio was a little too slow when Alejandro Firmin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-4. Santos Chinto struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Luciano Munio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvi Boton. ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s Luciano Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. from getting a goal against them. After 65 minutes of play, Alvi Boton's Santos Chinto made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano Munio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Dionisio Milio fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s protests and gave Dionisio Milio a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 70 minutes, Alvi Boton's Apolo Alvarez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luciano Munio. ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s Luciano Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. from getting a goal against them. Luciano Munio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Chinto in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s goal looked a bit too open when Santos Chinto came free, but Luciano Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luciano Munio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santos Chinto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 88 minute of play. Alejandro Firmin hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Santos Chinto took a quick shot and it went in 1-8 without a chance for Luciano Munio to make any attempt to save it. ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ.'s Luciano Munio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. defense, Enrique Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Munio. The ᑭIᑕᕼᑌ ᖴ.ᑕ. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Munio should have stopped the shot.
