Laureano Ugutz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Esiquio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Cordaryal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carter Cardella having to interfere. A collision led to Rosario Central getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Arnulfo Herrera hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Amadeo Esiquio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Laureano Ugutz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miguel Sariego received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Laureano Ugutz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Miguel Sariego managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones Libertarios's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Sariego was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Mingo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Leones Libertarios got a freekick which was hit by Armando Mingo.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Esiquio to strike the kick off in the second half. Miguel Sariego kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute Beppe Manzoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carter Cardella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Ugutz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Geronimo Cordaryal struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Esiquio in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laureano Ugutz saved Rosario Central from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Leones Libertarios's Amadeo Esiquio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Leones Libertarios's Miguel Sariego got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anacleto Balendin kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Geronimo Cordaryal struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Leones Libertarios's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
