If Geronimo Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Chaco Arg FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geronimo Cordaryal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 26 minutes of play, Rosario Central's Beppe Manzoli made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Ramone was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rosario Central's Laureano Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Presebal in the 34th minute of play. In the 34th match minute, Chaco Arg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaco Arg FC's goalkeeper Sergio Ramone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Rosario Central fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Rosario Central's Beppe Manzoli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Beppe Manzoli made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Beppe Manzoli notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Chaco Arg FC's Sergio Ramone. Sergio Ramone was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sergio Ramone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Geronimo Cordaryal took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sergio Ramone. Sergio Ramone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 65 minutes of play Rosario Central's Beppe Manzoli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 66 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Beppe Manzoli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Oinaz got free with Laureano Ugutz in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Rosario Central got a freekick which was hit by Teo Transito. Rosario Central's Laureano Ugutz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Presebal in the 71st minute of play. After 74 minutes, Marco Ascencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaco Arg FC and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marco Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Presebal came free, but Laureano Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rosario Central booed when Chaco Arg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Ascencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ladislao Presebal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Ugutz having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Segundo Oinaz got free with Laureano Ugutz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Rosario Central's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ascencio came free, but Laureano Ugutz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Presebal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Rosario Central players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
