Spectators: 7439 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 143) Baldomero Gilabert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Baldomero Gilabert came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Matienzo's Silvano Jacob. But to his dismay, Silvano Jacob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mario Emenon succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Leonel Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Mincho in the 20th minute of the match. Leonel Ugaitz was a little too slow when Gregorio Ganix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-2. Julian Emmanuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonel Ugaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Gregorio Ganix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Ugaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When Gregorio Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Flori FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gregorio Ganix couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Matienzo defense, Silvio Mincho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonel Ugaitz. The Matienzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonel Ugaitz should have stopped the shot. When Sergio Abalos fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matienzo's protests and gave Sergio Abalos a yellow card for diving instead. Sergio Abalos hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Silvio Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Silvano Jacob made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Matienzo's goalkeeper Leonel Ugaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baldomero Gilabert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Emenon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Heli, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Flori FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Julian Emmanuel in the 58th minute. The corner led to Flori FC's Jesus Heli getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 66th minute Gregorio Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Emmanuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Mario Emenon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flori FC's Baldomero Gilabert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Flori FC from getting a goal against them. Leonel Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Emmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Silvio Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matienzo's Leonel Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Ganix in the 76th minute of play. Leonel Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Emmanuel in the 86th minute of play. Flori FC's Baldomero Gilabert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Flori FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Flori FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jesus Heli hit a great ball. Silvano Jacob received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Baldomero Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Daniel Maiorga in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Matienzo's Sergio Abalos. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flori FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matienzo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
