The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leonel Ugaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edelmiro Valerio had several of the Matienzo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 4 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Leonel Ugaitz as he didn't even see the shot coming. 7 minutes into the match, Matienzo's goalkeeper Leonel Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Chepe. 9 minutes into the match, Matienzo's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Laurendi came free, but Leonel Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Magnifus FC's Edelmiro Valerio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Leonel Ugaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Joseph in the 13th minute of the match. Matienzo's Leonel Ugaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Matienzo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Magnifus FC's Lázaro Ignado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonel Ugaitz. That made the score 3-0 after 15 minutes of play. Leonel Ugaitz was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lázaro Ignado capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Ignado really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 29 minutes into the match, Matienzo's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Joseph came free, but Leonel Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Valerio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Melchor Joseph reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonel Ugaitz. The goal made the score 5-0. 36 minutes into the match, Matienzo's goalkeeper Leonel Ugaitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Valerio. Bogdan Cioculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Emenon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Leonel Ugaitz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leonel Ugaitz was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Edelmiro Valerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edelmiro Valerio really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lázaro Ignado to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Valerio in the 51st minute of play forced Matienzo's goalkeeper Leonel Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Lázaro Ignado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Ugaitz. Matienzo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Ignado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Matienzo's Leonel Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Joseph in the 55th minute of play. Leonel Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Magnifus FC's Lázaro Ignado. But to his dismay, Lázaro Ignado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. In the 64th minute Lázaro Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Cirilo Hernando put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matienzo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Magnifus FC. Artemio Chepe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonel Ugaitz. 9-0. In the 70th minute, Silvano Jacob hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonel Ugaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Ignado, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Matienzo's Leonel Ugaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Ignado in the 72nd minute of play. Leonel Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Joseph in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Lázaro Ignado made a precise shot to the right of Leonel Ugaitz. Matienzo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Husøy in the 93rd minute of play forced Matienzo's goalkeeper Leonel Ugaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Ugaitz came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Magnifus FC's Edelmiro Valerio. But to his dismay, Edelmiro Valerio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Leonel Ugaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Ignado in the 99th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Magnifus FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
