After some careless play in the La France defense, Marcelo Laurentzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Ovando. The La France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Ovando should have stopped the shot. Prospero Ovando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Laurentzi in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Quitilipi's Cayetano Bazkoare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Ovando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The goalkeeper, Saul Suarez, was totally fooled by La France's Justino Ferrando, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind La France's goalkeeper Prospero Ovando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Saul Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavol Pucher hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Inocencio Lartaun scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Ovando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Quitilipi were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cayetano Bazkoare stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Bazkoare scored 2-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Ovando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prospero Ovando made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Arí Lucas sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the game, Pavol Pucher was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaudencio Pelayo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Suarez saved Quitilipi from getting behind. Cayetano Bazkoare in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Prospero Ovando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lisandro Joanes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Prospero Ovando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prospero Ovando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Bazkoare went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-7 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Bazkoare in the 94th minute of play forced La France's goalkeeper Prospero Ovando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Gaudencio Pelayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quitilipi's Saul Suarez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Quitilipi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
