Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Apolo Chan kicked off to start the match. Juan Felipillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Canor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rio de La Plata FC's Maximiliano Canor got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, one of Holaneta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 20th minute, Maximiliano Canor made a precise shot to the right of Juan Felipillo. Holaneta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Remigio Pudess short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Leopoldo Cordario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Canor notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Holaneta's Juan Felipillo. Juan Felipillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiliano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Felipillo came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Rio de La Plata FC's Maximiliano Canor. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Canor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. In the 44th minute, Braulio Lluis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The wind increased when Maximiliano Canor made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rio de La Plata FC! Holaneta's Hugo Edur got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Garcia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Maximiliano Canor took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Juan Felipillo to make any attempt to save it. Maximiliano Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Felipillo having to interfere. Silvestre Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Rio de La Plata FC's Maximiliano Canor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When Maximiliano Canor came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rio de La Plata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Canor couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute Silvestre Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Felipillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Hugo Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holaneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Edur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Rio de La Plata FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holaneta.
