Erik Štrausz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emilio Bikendi having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's Emilio Bikendi threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erik Štrausz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Fabra in the 4th minute. The corner led to Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's Tomás Frichoso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 7 played minutes Cabernet Albatroz Legacy got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Frichoso. Emilio Bikendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Štrausz in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute, Tomás Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Orti kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA got a freekick which was hit by Americo Boniel. Erik Štrausz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Emilio Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Mano Dios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Jon was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Emilio Bikendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes in the game Diederick Vrankx did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Tomás Frichoso. In the 34thth minute of the game Erik Štrausz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Emilio Bikendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomás Frichoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Americo Boniel's late challenge caught a Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Americo Boniel helped the player get up and apologised. Erik Štrausz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's Erik Štrausz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilio Bikendi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Marcial Flor was substituted for Generoso Goren. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Štrausz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Urbano Kusko could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Hector Jon however easily saved by the left post. The attack was good, but when Mano Dios in the 62nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The crowd rose to their feet as DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA's Isidoro Mino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hector Jon. That made the score 0-1 after 64 minutes of play. Erik Štrausz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Emilio Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Štrausz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Americo Boniel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Štrausz in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emilio Bikendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erik Štrausz scored 1-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Bikendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to DIEGO ARMANDO MARADONA getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Americo Boniel hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Erik Štrausz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Bikendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mano Dios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
