Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Maximiliano Canor made the kick off which started today's match. Chaján AFCs's Albano Gar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Caetano in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ubarna in the 9th minute of play forced Chaján AFCs's goalkeeper Albano Gar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vicente Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Rio de La Plata FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ubarna couldn't finish the play. Gregorio Tono kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Maximiliano Canor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Albano Gar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 33rd minute of the match Gregorio Tono completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gregorio Tono a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Rio de La Plata FC booed when Chaján AFCs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Gar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Hitzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Maximiliano Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio de La Plata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Canor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st match minute, Chaján AFCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Daunte to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Maximiliano Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rio de La Plata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Canor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Gar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th match minute, Chaján AFCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Daunte to maneuver through the defense. In the 49th minute Rio de La Plata FC were awarded a corner. Vicente Ubarna went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vicente Ubarna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chaján AFCs's Albano Gar did a great save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norberto Frascuelo made a kick off. Silvestre Caetano hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Frascuelo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Cordario saved Rio de La Plata FC from getting behind. Norberto Frascuelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cordario having to interfere. Norberto Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 68 minutes, Norberto Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaján AFCs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Frascuelo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th match minute, Chaján AFCs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Daunte to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes Chaján AFCs got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Daunte. Norberto Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaján AFCs's goalkeeper Albano Gar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Frascuelo in the 85th minute of play forced Rio de La Plata FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Canor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Eleazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Gar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Canor, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Rio de La Plata FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
