Erik Štrausz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Leopoldo Cordario 10 minutes into the match. Erik Štrausz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Leopoldo Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cabernet Albatroz Legacy. After having played for 17 minutes, Erik Štrausz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabernet Albatroz Legacy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik Štrausz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melquiades Cebrian charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Cebrian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Rio de La Plata FC booed when Cabernet Albatroz Legacy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Cebrian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Gregorio Semeno sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Jon skillfully saved the ball. In the 21st match minute, Cabernet Albatroz Legacy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Štrausz to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Canor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Erik Štrausz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rio de La Plata FC's Leopoldo Cordario was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Rio de La Plata FC defense, Tomás Frichoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cordario. The Rio de La Plata FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cordario should have stopped the shot. Erik Štrausz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cordario having to interfere. If Erik Štrausz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leopoldo Cordario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Štrausz in the 81st minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Erik Štrausz made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Cordario. Rio de La Plata FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Vicente Ubarna hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Erik Štrausz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Cordario was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cabernet Albatroz Legacy fully deserved thier win.
