In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind EDEPA's goalkeeper Baldomero Sal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 31 minutes EDEPA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leopoldo Cesaro who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Leopoldo Cesaro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Baldomero Sal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Heli in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Sal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Lino Heli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Sal was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 40thth minute of the game Lino Heli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EDEPA's Baldomero Sal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of EDEPA booed when Atletic Club Araucaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Vildosola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdul Majid Awat made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Ruperto Garci sent off a good shot on target. Lino Heli struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Baldomero Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletic Club Araucaria. The EDEPA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletic Club Araucaria were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Heli was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Gayle Leto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Sal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Cirilo Raymon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baldomero Sal having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, EDEPA's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Raymon came free, but Baldomero Sal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baldomero Sal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Raymon in the 67th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Raymon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Sal. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. EDEPA's Justo Tartalo was substituted for Jacinto Brion. Leopoldo Cesaro scored 0-4 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomero Sal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atletic Club Araucaria made a substitution. Isidoro Oxarra replaced Leopoldo Cesaro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of EDEPA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atletic Club Araucaria:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Atletic Club Araucaria. Baldomiro Gonchan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Sal. 0-5. Isidoro Oxarra's late challenge caught a EDEPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Oxarra helped the player get up and apologised. Baldomero Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Raymon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Isaias Diegotxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdul Majid Awat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Cirilo Raymon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomero Sal, passed just outside the right post. When Atletic Club Araucaria's Cirilo Raymon in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EDEPA's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to EDEPA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nemesio Ipar hit a great ball. In the 99th minute, Eliseo Franco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Gonchan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
