Iker Moise made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 25th match minute, Los Soretes Return was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Checa to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Omar Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benicio Truylos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Jerano in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Abechuco in the 30th minute of play forced LA CARLOTA FC's goalkeeper Iker Moise to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Celso Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Moise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Abechuco in the 38th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Lobo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Omar Primeiro fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Soretes Return's protests and gave Omar Primeiro a yellow card for diving instead. Benicio Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Hats, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Los Soretes Return's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Argider came free, but Benicio Truylos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Lobo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7.
