Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Lino Heli started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the game, Lino Heli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Baldomero Sal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, EDEPA's Fernando Fidele got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 16 played minutes Atletic Club Araucaria got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Bernad. Baldomero Sal made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Gayle Leto sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Heli got free with Baldomero Sal in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 39th match minute, EDEPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Diegotxe to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Nereo Chayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Lino Heli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baldomero Sal. That made the score 2-0 in the 45 minute of play.

The wind increased when Jairo Lore made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Roldan during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EDEPA booed when Atletic Club Araucaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Roldan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Atletic Club Araucaria's Cirilo Raymon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Sal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute Cirilo Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baldomero Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Atletic Club Araucaria got a corner. EDEPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Cesaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Leopoldo Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 played minutes Atletic Club Araucaria got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Raymon. EDEPA's Baldomero Sal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Raymon in the 67th minute of play. If Cirilo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ruperto Garci charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Garci the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruperto Garci hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. A collision led to EDEPA getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ruperto Garci hit a great ball. Cirilo Raymon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Sal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Atletic Club Araucaria got a freekick which was hit by Simon Roldan. Cirilo Raymon struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Baldomero Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletic Club Araucaria. Baldomero Sal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Raymon's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind EDEPA's goalkeeper Baldomero Sal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Atletic Club Araucaria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
