When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Barbosa made a kick off. William Sénéchal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, João Barbosa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Virila. Nuevo Horizonte's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 65 minutes of play, Caballito's Miguel Moise made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Virila was left in no man's land by his defense there! 74 minutes into the match, Nuevo Horizonte's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Moise came free, but Niceto Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Moise might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Virila. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
