Spectators: 6706 (Terracing: 5631, Seating: 1025, VIP seats: 50) Rafael Juncker made the kick off and thus started the match. When Doru Ştiubei came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pirané fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doru Ştiubei couldn't finish the play. Nicky Weaver didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doru Ştiubei went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Christian Abilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Pirané booed when Rodeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Michaël Karembeu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicky Weaver skillfully saved the ball. When Michaël Karembeu fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirané's protests and gave Michaël Karembeu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Michaël Karembeu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualterio Erramun made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Edelmiro Valiente sent off a good shot on target. Doru Ştiubei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nicky Weaver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Rodeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breno Machado to maneuver through the defense. Maicon Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Juncker kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Doru Ştiubei made a precise shot to the right of Nicky Weaver. Rodeo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Siro Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doru Ştiubei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicky Weaver read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doru Ştiubei made a kick off. Nicky Weaver was a little too slow when Doru Ştiubei got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-4. Rodeo's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Doru Ştiubei 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Nicky Weaver didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 61st minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. After 66 minutes, Doru Ştiubei made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Rodeo's Nicky Weaver tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Rodeo's Christian Abilio got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Ştiubei in the 70th minute of play forced Rodeo's goalkeeper Nicky Weaver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doru Ştiubei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicky Weaver stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Ştiubei's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute of the game Breno Machado made a throw-in which Rafael Juncker played forward. Doru Ştiubei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nicky Weaver made a huge save. Nicky Weaver came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pirané's Doru Ştiubei. But to his dismay, Doru Ştiubei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. After a rather tough play, Rodeo's Breno Machado got a free kick in the 95th minute. Rodeo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Doru Ştiubei scored to the left of an out of position Nicky Weaver, making the score, 0-10. Pirané's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
