Trinche FC's Thijs Spanjaard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Adrio in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Ceci Basket Ball Club booed when Trinche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Trinche FC's Patricio Maidana got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute Aureliano Adrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Spanjaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42ndth minute of the game Efrain Dimas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceci Basket Ball Club's Everardo Sanson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Arsenio Locaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thijs Spanjaard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceci Basket Ball Club's Everardo Sanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ceci Basket Ball Club from getting a goal against them. After the first half Ceci Basket Ball Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thijs Spanjaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Adrio in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Aureliano Adrio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceci Basket Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Arsenio Locaio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Thijs Spanjaard when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 57 minutes of play, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Arsenio Locaio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thijs Spanjaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Arsenio Locaio notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Trinche FC's Thijs Spanjaard. Thijs Spanjaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thijs Spanjaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Locaio in the 69th minute of play. Everardo Sanson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Firman Tanzier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Trinche FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Locaio came free, but Thijs Spanjaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ceci Basket Ball Club booed when Trinche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 played minutes Ceci Basket Ball Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Mano. If Firman Tanzier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Trinche FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ceci Basket Ball Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
