Matias Bazkoare made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Rencio in the 13th minute. The attack was good, but when Fabio Rencio in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Fabio Rencio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Bazkoare came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Rencio slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute Fabio Rencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Bazkoare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matias Bazkoare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Rencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Fabio Lano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ceci Basket Ball Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aureliano Adrio got free with Matias Bazkoare in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the ClubAtléticoIndependiente defense, Fabio Rencio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Bazkoare. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Bazkoare should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Fabio Rencio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matias Bazkoare. The goal made the score 7-0. Matias Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Eder in the 36th minute of play. Matias Bazkoare was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fabio Lano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 37 minute of play. ClubAtléticoIndependiente's Matias Bazkoare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save ClubAtléticoIndependiente from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Bazkoare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Rencio in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the game, Ceci Basket Ball Club's Arsenio Locaio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matias Bazkoare made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-1. 70 minutes into the match, Melchor Eder notched a goal, 13-1, to the right of ClubAtléticoIndependiente's Matias Bazkoare. Matias Bazkoare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Matias Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 14-1. After some careless play in the ClubAtléticoIndependiente defense, Fabio Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matias Bazkoare. The ClubAtléticoIndependiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matias Bazkoare should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Ceci Basket Ball Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
