Patricios's Marcelino Oinatz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Patricios from getting a goal against them. Alvaro Tino's late challenge caught a Patricios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alvaro Tino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Alvaro Tino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Barato getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Maximiliano Ledesma hit a great ball. Tobias Gilesindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marcelino Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Patricios's goalkeeper Marcelino Oinatz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Benvide. After 20 minutes of play, Patricios's Lorenzo Paulin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Sal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Siro Inko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Marcelino Oinatz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute Miguel Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Claudio Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barato's Maximiliano Ledesma got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tobias Gilesindo made a kick off. 1-2 became the score in the 56th minute when Tobias Gilesindo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patricios's goalkeeper Marcelino Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Patricios's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Gilesindo came free, but Marcelino Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Barato's Claudio Sal got control of the ball when Lorenzo Paulin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Miguel Truylos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Miguel Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Patricios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Bizi in the 87th minute of play forced Patricios's goalkeeper Marcelino Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Kusko charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Kusko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Patricios got a freekick which was hit by Juan Kusko. Marcelino Oinatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobias Gilesindo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Patricios were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Barato's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Truylos took the corner. The corner led Patricios's Ulises Beltran to a score. 1-3 in the 98th minute. Patricios's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
