Pingolion's Hermengildo Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Marin in the 2nd minute of play. With his leg Esteban Bazkoare managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Pingolion's Wilfredo Abel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Pingolion booed when Villa Pineral - Caseros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Raitin got free with Esteban Bazkoare in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Bazkoare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levi Stuyck in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Endura in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Macario saved Pingolion from getting behind. Hermengildo Macario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alejandro Endura's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Pingolion's Hermengildo Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Endura in the 29th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Pineral - Caseros's zone, Wilfredo Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Bazkoare came out of the goal and Wilfredo Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Villa Pineral - Caseros's Esteban Bazkoare got control of the ball when Wilfredo Abel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pingolion's zone, Alejandro Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Macario came out of the goal and Alejandro Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Abel was the one to do the kick off. Paulo Marin came free with the goalkeeper in the 51st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hermengildo Macario could save by the left post. In the 52nd minute of the match Villa Pineral - Caseros got a corner. Pingolion's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Leone ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Teofilo Pes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Alejandro Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Paulo Marin came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Villa Pineral - Caseros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Marin couldn't finish the play. Pingolion's Rodolfo Lehior was substituted for Carlos Raitin. Esteban Bazkoare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Orlandus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Orlandus took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Bazkoare. Esteban Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Paulo Marin hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Esteban Bazkoare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Lehior in the 63rd minute of play. If Wilfredo Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Ladislao Rojelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70thth minute of the game Wilfredo Abel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Pineral - Caseros's Esteban Bazkoare was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Esteban Bazkoare didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Lehior went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Levi Stuyck took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteban Bazkoare. Esteban Bazkoare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rodolfo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pingolion made a substitution. Esteve Porfiro replaced Wilfredo Abel. Pingolion made a substitution. Serafin Atarrabi replaced Apolo Madeo. Genadi Oprov's late challenge caught a Villa Pineral - Caseros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genadi Oprov helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pingolion getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Genadi Oprov hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Villa Pineral - Caseros's Dario Leone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hermengildo Macario came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Villa Pineral - Caseros reached it. If Teofilo Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Endura in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermengildo Macario saved Pingolion from getting behind. Alejandro Endura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Macario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Esteve Porfiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Rodolfo Lehior put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Esteban Bazkoare. 93 minutes into the game, Esteve Porfiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pingolion's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Pineral - Caseros the free kick. Esteve Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pingolion fans cheered their team off the field, for while Villa Pineral - Caseros had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
