General Ramirez FC's Paulino Acevedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save General Ramirez FC from getting a goal against them. Fernan Alvarez stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Claudio Sal. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Alvarez was the one to do the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Pablo Medero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Sal. That made the score 1-2 in the 53 minute of play. Reynaldo Pasqual kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Gilesindo in the 59th minute of play forced General Ramirez FC's goalkeeper Paulino Acevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Sal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Paulino Acevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulino Acevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Bizi in the 87th minute of play. Claudio Sal acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 88th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fulgencio Tome. Fernan Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Sal having to interfere. Chants of General Ramirez FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Barato had held the ball for most of the match.
