In the 37th minute of the match Levi Stuyck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Oidor skillfully saved the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Gagriel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Macario. Pingolion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Gagriel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Carlos Raitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Oidor having to interfere. Inocencio Oidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Raitin in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Abel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
