Spectators: 7519 (Terracing: 5640, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wilfredo Orkatz kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Curupaity defense, Pastor Quiroga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Arce. The Curupaity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Arce should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute Celestino Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Quiroga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Isidro Arce made a huge save. In the 10th match minute, Escalada City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Ovando to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Salvator during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curupaity's Gervasio Salvator got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Jairo Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 18 played minutes Escalada City FC got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Frichoso. In the 20th match minute, Escalada City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Frichoso to maneuver through the defense. Isidro Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Quiroga in the 31st minute of the match. Isidro Arce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Celestino Ponce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. Pastor Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute Pastor Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pastor Quiroga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidro Arce. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pastor Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 3-1 became the score in the 52nd minute when Benito Espiridion elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Isidro Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Ponce in the 60th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Curupaity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Paez to maneuver through the defense. Escalada City FC's Celestino Ponce managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ruperto Inge in the 62 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Escalada City FC's Gregorio Frichoso got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Curupaity's zone, Celestino Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Arce came out of the goal and Celestino Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Arce came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Escalada City FC's Marty Norton. But to his dismay, Marty Norton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Pastor Noriega was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilfredo Orkatz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 78 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Isaias Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Serafin Dimas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curupaity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escalada City FC the free kick. Serafin Dimas kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Pastor Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isidro Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Escalada City FC's Pastor Quiroga in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curupaity's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee ended the match the Escalada City FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
