Felix Gonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Gelmiro in the 17th minute of play. Felix Gonzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andres Galindo in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Villaguay AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Ekain came free, but Marcelo Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Galindo struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Felix Gonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaguay AFC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Galindo made a kick off. Adan Ekain hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Wilfredo Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Gonzo having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Rayo Vallecano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Urre to maneuver through the defense. Rayo Vallecano's Felix Gonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Galindo in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Andres Galindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rayo Vallecano's Felix Gonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 minutes, Raimundo Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayo Vallecano and the Villaguay AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rayo Vallecano getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Raimundo Urre hit a great ball. When Villaguay AFC's Wilfredo Oro in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Gelmiro during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Galindo couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, Rayo Vallecano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. Alfonso Franquesa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Gonzo. Rayo Vallecano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Andres Galindo took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Gonzo. Felix Gonzo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After 93 minutes of play, Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Gonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villaguay AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
