The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute Florentino Argina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Cristian Pirro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Pirro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Cristian Pirro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Tanio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patricio Pisano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute, Albino Urbes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Libertad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Epifanio Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Telo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Los Hijos Del Pellegrini getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Pinheiro hit a great ball. In the 28th minute, Svetaslav Yanchyk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Libertad FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Svetaslav Yanchyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epifanio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Svetaslav Yanchyk scored 2-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Evis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Augusto Pinheiro was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Svetaslav Yanchyk notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Epifanio Evis. Epifanio Evis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 58 played minutes Florentino Argina rounded Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-5. Svetaslav Yanchyk in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Evis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Los Hijos Del Pellegrini defense, Svetaslav Yanchyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Epifanio Evis. The Los Hijos Del Pellegrini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Epifanio Evis should have stopped the shot. Epifanio Evis made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Svetaslav Yanchyk sent off a good shot on target. Libertad FC played a much better game than Los Hijos Del Pellegrini and deserved their victory. The Los Hijos Del Pellegrini players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
