Andres Galindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Galindo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Darregueira FC's zone, Wilfredo Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Mitxaut came out of the goal and Wilfredo Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Arias in the 23rd minute. Andres Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Mitxaut having to interfere. Hernan Mitxaut came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo. But to his dismay, Andres Galindo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Markos Michalakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 33rd minute, Anacleto Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Andres Galindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hernan Mitxaut was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Andres Galindo took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Mitxaut. Hernan Mitxaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 38th minute, Eloy Eguen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andres Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Darregueira FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Melquiades Batista hit a great ball. Hernan Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Galindo in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Villaguay AFC's Markos Michalakos made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hernan Mitxaut was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andres Galindo was the one to do the kick off. Marcelo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Batista in the 53rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Andres Galindo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hernan Mitxaut. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Andres Galindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Mitxaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After having played for 73 minutes, Horacio Carbonari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaguay AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Carbonari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Andres Galindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Mitxaut. Darregueira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Galindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Andres Galindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hernan Mitxaut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Galindo ran back to his position shaking his head. If Andres Galindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Galindo took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Mitxaut. Hernan Mitxaut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Andres Galindo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
