In the 6th minute Victor Olayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Daniel Gabirel fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MUpovihesa FC's protests and gave Daniel Gabirel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MUpovihesa FC's Daniel Gabirel got a free kick in the 10th minute. Fernan Remir hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the MUpovihesa FC defense, Andres Galindo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Perrando. The MUpovihesa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Perrando should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Victor Olayo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Olivar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Villaguay AFC's Marcelo Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Frantzes in the 22nd minute of play. Marcelo Olivar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Thomas in the 27th minute of the match. Marcelo Olivar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Andres Galindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Markos Michalakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in MUpovihesa FC's zone, Andres Galindo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Perrando came out of the goal and Andres Galindo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markos Michalakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Danilo Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute Wilfredo Oro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 45 minutes of play MUpovihesa FC's Daniel Gabirel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Villaguay AFC booed when MUpovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gabirel didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Adolfo Frantzes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the game, Villaguay AFC's Andres Galindo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Danilo Perrando made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 58 minutes into the game, Jose Ranolfo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Villaguay AFC's Rene Orixe quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Denis Mirande took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Danilo Perrando. Danilo Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Marcelo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Frantzes in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Andres Galindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villaguay AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. 84 minutes into the game, MUpovihesa FC's Fabio Thomas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Olivar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Santo Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Alfonso Franquesa scored 7-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Danilo Perrando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Perrando having to interfere. Marcelo Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Villaguay AFC fully deserved thier win.
