Karol Czeszejko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Urre in the 20th minute of the match. Rogelio Gelmiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Karol Czeszejko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristo Beti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Gonzo having to interfere. Jonathan Txindoki's late challenge caught a Chaschuil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Txindoki helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rayo Vallecano's Jonathan Txindoki got a free kick in the 25th minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karol Czeszejko.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Beti was the one to do the kick off. Ildefonso Primeiro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adan Ekain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Felix Gonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ildefonso Primeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Felix Gonzo. Rayo Vallecano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 65 played minutes, Chaschuil's Ildefonso Primeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felix Gonzo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chaschuil reached it. Chaschuil's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
