Bernabe Jenaro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Anastasio Berriotxoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unión de Santa Fe's Murat Tunçhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Guo Yu in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Cervantes F.C.'s Fausto Kemen got control of the ball when Bernabe Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Murat Tunçhan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 35 minutes into the match, Shen Guo Yu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murat Tunçhan. Unión de Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shen Guo Yu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. But to his dismay, Samuel Rojelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Shen Guo Yu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernabe Jenaro was the one to do the kick off. Bernabe Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Unión de Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Cervantes F.C.'s Honorio Dabi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Honorio Dabi put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Murat Tunçhan. Cervantes F.C. made a substitution. Honorio Dabis short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Murat Tunçhan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Murat Tunçhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Rojelio in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Samuel Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murat Tunçhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. The Unión de Santa Fe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cervantes F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
