The supporters of Cervantes F.C. booed when Gardey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Gardey FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Guo Yu came free, but David Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Shen Guo Yu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cervantes F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Shen Guo Yu took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Johnsson. David Johnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. David Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Guo Yu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shen Guo Yu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. David Johnsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cesar Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Cervantes F.C.'s Shen Guo Yu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Johnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Shen Guo Yu took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Johnsson. David Johnsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 29th minute, Shen Guo Yu made a precise shot to the right of David Johnsson. Gardey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Apolo Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Ladislao Refugio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gardey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ladislao Refugio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Kemen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Shen Guo Yu scored 0-6 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Johnsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner led Gardey FC's 狄景邦 to fire away a dangerous shot which Fausto Kemen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rodrigo Tabor hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. With 47 minutes on the clock, Placido Gonzo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 46th minute, one of Cervantes F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cervantes F.C.. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Rojelio made a kick off. 0-7 became the score in the 53rd minute when Samuel Rojelio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Samuel Rojelio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Johnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 62nd minute, Samuel Rojelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Johnsson. The goal made the score 0-9. Fausto Kemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josh De Lucca, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gardey FC's zone, Samuel Rojelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Johnsson came out of the goal and Samuel Rojelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cervantes F.C. made a substitution. Edelmiro Fe replaced Anastasio Berriotxoa. Edelmiro Fe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Cervantes F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fred Coutinho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fausto Kemen. Cervantes F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Samuel Rojelio succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-11. In the 98th minute, Samuel Rojelio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Johnsson. The goal made the score 0-12. Cervantes F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
