Dalmacio Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Orlo in the 44th minute of play forced Papin AFC's goalkeeper Marcial Sustrai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcial Sustrai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomiro Estefan went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The Papin AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Godfathers F.C. were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Estefan to make the kick off. Celso Urtats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Benji Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Orlo's late challenge caught a Papin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benji Price showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Celso Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benji Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Sustrai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Marcial Sustrai made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iker Chaime in the 61st minute. Marcial Sustrai made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Iker Chaime sent off a good shot on target. 69 minutes into the match, Papin AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Orlo came free, but Marcial Sustrai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
