The Godfathers F.C.'s Epifanio Lidon got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Modesto Frederico fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sacahumo FC's protests and gave Modesto Frederico a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Sacahumo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of The Godfathers F.C.:s goal. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, The Godfathers F.C.'s Epifanio Lidon got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dante Donio. Epifanio Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Dante Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baldomiro Estefan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Dante Donio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Baldomiro Estefan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Dante Donio made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Baldomiro Estefan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Donio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pascual Orlo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 34th playminute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Epifanio Lidon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46thth minute of the game Pascual Orlo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sacahumo FC's Dante Donio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Baldomiro Estefan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Godfathers F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Estefan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Aureliano Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. When The Godfathers F.C.'s Baldomiro Estefan in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacahumo FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Sacahumo FC defense, Pascual Orlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Donio. The Sacahumo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Donio should have stopped the shot. Baldomiro Estefan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Dante Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Orlo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cipriano Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sacahumo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! An unexpectedly hard shot by Epifanio Lidon in the 76th minute of play forced Sacahumo FC's goalkeeper Dante Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Estefan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Epifanio Lidon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 86 minutes of play, The Godfathers F.C.'s Baldomiro Estefan made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Donio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When The Godfathers F.C.'s Epifanio Lidon in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sacahumo FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Baldomiro Estefan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Estefan in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Donio saved Sacahumo FC from getting behind. Dante Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that The Godfathers F.C. were the better team. The Godfathers F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
