Severo Edwardo hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Rivadavia's goalkeeper Horacio Eleazar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hipolito Marz. Horacio Eleazar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Argina went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Horacio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Eleazar in the 17th minute of the match. Constantino Firman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Raimundo Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Borbotones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Oroitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of New Borbotones booed when Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Katia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Domingo Eleazar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New Borbotones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 41st match minute, New Borbotones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Argina to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Raimundo Oroitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Borbotones's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Oroitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horacio Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Martin Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Eleazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingo Eleazar in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domingo Eleazar made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, New Borbotones's Domingo Eleazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Eleazar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Katia during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Katia hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Martin Argina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute Hipolito Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Argina in the 65th minute of play forced Rivadavia's goalkeeper Horacio Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Martin Argina came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the New Borbotones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Argina couldn't finish the play. New Borbotones's Andres Garcia was substituted for Severo Edwardo. Horacio Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Argina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Rivadavia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Nicolas Policarpio hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Rivadavia got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Katia. After some careless play in the Rivadavia defense, Martin Argina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horacio Eleazar. The Rivadavia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horacio Eleazar should have stopped the shot. Fernando Katia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Horacio Eleazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Geofredo in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Geofredo in the 87th minute of play forced Rivadavia's goalkeeper Horacio Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horacio Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingo Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Horacio Eleazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingo Eleazar in the 91st minute of the match. Horacio Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingo Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Borbotones walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
