The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Valiente got free with Nereo Musko in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicanor Heli to make the kick off. Nereo Musko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Ado in the 53rd minute of the match. Denis Ado might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nereo Musko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Ado ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Anastasio Valiente put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nereo Musko. Nereo Musko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Ado in the 86th minute of play.
