Olle Wiklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Quin having to make a save. 4 minutes into the match, Olle Wiklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Quin. Tío Rico F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olle Wiklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 7th minute, Zachariasz Poteralski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RompePiernas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tío Rico F.C's goalkeeper Edgard Quin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. RompePiernas FC's Zachariasz Poteralski got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olle Wiklund in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Quin saved Tío Rico F.C from getting behind. Zachariasz Poteralski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Edgard Quin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RompePiernas FC. After some careless play in the Tío Rico F.C defense, Olle Wiklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Quin. The Tío Rico F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Quin should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Olle Wiklund put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Edgard Quin. 0-9 became the score in the 47th minute when Olle Wiklund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Teyo to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Diego Juvenal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Quin was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game.
