After 28 minutes, Isidro Canor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Colón FC and the C.A. Quilmes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute of the match Santo Orlandus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Americo Cilio skillfully saved the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Pedro Toribio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
